Becovetous Shen is a 2-track EP from Tape Lab’s PlayStationary Series, built loose, jammy, and CDJ-scrambled straight out of the Diablo III era. It’s dungeon-crawler lounge music for people who think “inventory management” should come with a bassline.

The EP leans into slippery edits, cassette grime, and live-mixed chaos, with impeccable James Hong as Covetous Shen samples guiding the whole thing like a cursed merchant who absolutely knows more than he’s saying. And yes, somehow George W. Bush and the shoe incident made it in there too, because history is basically just sampling with worse mastering.
