FEATURING
Tape Lab has always been a collaborative experiment: part record label, part live project, part beautiful mistake caught on tape. The Featuring page celebrates the artists, aliases, crews, friends, side quests, and sonic troublemakers who have appeared across Tape Lab releases—from the original reLux sessions in Efland to the Diablo-era live chaos of Late Night Nephalem, the Imperfectionistism bars of Longshanx, and the electronic precision of Brillman.
Featured Artists & Collaborators:
reLux | Late Night Nephalem | Reverend Longshanx | Brillman | THE BINKY | BRILPOOL | DJ WRLDWRST | Stank Nitty | N@T* | Lil’ Uzi Virg | Pepper Allison | The Triangle Scheme
Ah, the Diablo Years. Founded as a live project for Tape Lab. If you stay up late enough, you can still hear them Nephalem… Can I get a Blood Shard?
From Outside Oslo, Brillman brings a technical skill and love for electronic music culture that is inspiring. Find him on some great Collabs!
On the Bink of Destruction, Featuring and introducing THE JOES. Live from East Hampton, The Binky keeps it chic, coastal contemporary.
DJ WRLDWRST (World's Worst) is the world’s worst DJ. Maybe he’s drunk when he spins, maybe he’s sleepwalking, maybe he’s just gleefully reckless. Whatever the state, the result is irrepressibly funky: warped loops, off-kilter transitions, and basslines that wobble like a city bus on a pothole parade. It sounds messy. It sounds alive. It sounds like a party that forgot to check the rules.
Operated by 2yng2smpl and Tape Lab (unofficially): We Tha Worst! Two crews, one glorious disaster. 2yng2smpl brings the hyperactive sample-chopping and DIY grit; Tape Lab brings the analog warmth, artful chaos, and the relentless love of making music that feels like it was fun to make. Together they curate the delightfully disastrous world of DJ WRLDWRST.
“He’s spinning? Honey, I think the DJ is drunk.” Translation: get on the dancefloor. Expect detours, unexpected drops, and tracks that refuse to behave. Expect an experience that’s fearless, original, and perfectly imperfect — because sometimes the best beats come from not caring too much about the rules.
