SCABULOUS is a four-track Tape Lab EP that brings together the raw rhythmic language of Drum & Basic with the deeper, more instinctive feel of the In the Pocket Series. The result is esoteric, out there, experimental, and surprisingly organic — a release that feels less like a polished production exercise and more like a live transmission from the weirder corners of the Tape Lab universe.

Built around loose grooves, strange textures, and off-center beat work, SCABULOUS leans into the beauty of imperfection. It is rhythmic without being predictable, experimental without losing its pulse, and strange enough to reward repeat listening. This is Tape Lab in exploratory mode: tactile, odd, beat-driven, and fully committed to the joy of making something that probably should not work — but absolutely does.
