The phrase became shorthand for Bethesda-style ambition: huge open worlds, wild mechanics, charming bugs, and the kind of technical chaos that somehow becomes part of the experience. It’s not just a quote anymore — it’s a cultural patch note for anything held together by confidence, duct tape, and a loading screen.
The system is broken, nobody knows why, but we’re shipping it anyway.
