Cowboys II Men

Cowboys II Men EP marks the beginning of Tape Lab’s techno-cowboy frontier: three short songs where western influence, joyful melodies, and Tape Lab’s handmade electronic weirdness ride out together. It is brief, bright, and oddly cinematic, with the project’s cowboy motif starting to take shape in real time.

Built around a playful mix of synthetic rhythms, dusty western charm, and lo-fi tape energy, the EP feels like a tiny desert rodeo happening inside a drum machine. It is fun first, but there is a real identity forming here: the sound of Tape Lab discovering that cowboy music and electronic music do not need to be enemies. They can, in fact, share a horse.
