About Tape Lab’s Zine: The Outside-Insider

The Outside Insider is the official Tape Lab zine: a collage-heavy, full-color snapshot of our artistic world. Built in a wide-panel cinematic format, it reflects our love of graphic design, typesetting, and outsider expression.

The name says it all. We are outside artists.

Issue One was released in a limited physical run in late 2024 and remains available for custom printing by request.

In 2026, we’re heading back OUTSIDE with The Outside-Insider Vol. 2.

Submissions are officially open. Send us your art, writing, and ideas to be considered. Our influences are obvious, but imitation is boring. Bring your own voice.
